What type of cleaning products do you use to clean stone floors?
We begin with soft-wash products that are free from toxic and abrasive detergents to remove any stains and dirt on the surface of your floor. If your floors are very dirty, we may opt to use some stronger cleaning agents that can loosen up the oils and dirt that are attached to your stone. Lastly, we use a special stone-friendly vacuum on your floors.
Will your company polish my stone floors?
Yes, Houston Cleaning Doc can use sanding discs and pads to polish certain types of flooring.
What method do you use to clean carpets?
Houston Cleaning Doc employs the steam-cleaning method that extracts dirt and excess moisture from your carpeting using a specialized steaming tool. We’ve chosen this as our default method because it is recommended by the CDC over the water-cleaning method that can attract mold and mildew. A benefit of steam cleaning is that your carpets will dry much faster without fears of lingering dampness. We use state-of-the-art steaming technology that fully sanitizes and cleans carpets using a steam temperature of 250 degrees Fahrenheit.
How do I prepare for a visit?
Ensure that all of the floors or upholstery scheduled to be cleaned are cleared of any clutter or obstacles. Someone will need to be available to let us inside your home. If we will be visiting while you aren’t home, let us know ahead of time where our techs can locate a key for entry. Please ensure that all alarms are deactivated before leaving your house.
